If you have general questions about Food or Cash Assistance, you may call the Colorado Department of Human Services Call Center.

Health Benefit Questions 

The Health First Colorado Member Contact Center can help you with questions about your health benefits and billing. 
Call 1-800-221-3943 (State Relay: 711) Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. 
Note: The Member Contact Center is closed on state holidays and every Friday from 2 - 3:30 p.m.

Chat with an agent by signing in to PEAK and selecting "Live chat about health benefits" under Online Assistance in the top menu. Live chat is available Monday through Friday, 12:30 - 4:30 p.m. and works best on a Chrome browser.

Send a question anytime by signing in to PEAK. Select Communications in the left sidebar menu, then click the Ask a Question tab. You will see a response to your question on this page within seven days.

Download the free PEAKHealth mobile app to get your medical ID card, find a doctor and more – right from your phone!

Active Health First Colorado and CHP+ members can sign in to the secure PEAKHealth app using their PEAK credentials to:

  • View medical ID cards for all members of the household.

  • Find a doctor, dentist, pharmacy or health care facility using a map-based search.

  • Know what benefits are covered and how much you could pay.

  • Update contact information, household members, and job and income information.

  • View your CHP+ and Medicaid Buy-in account balances and make one-time or recurring payments.
